Welcome to our blog. Here I'll be sharing about some of our experiences living in a church parsonage as well as ideas for turning a parsonage into a home. I probably should tell you a little bit about us before we get started. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have been in the ministry for our entire married life. In 2001, we were on a mission's trip to Mongolia and actually arrived in China, our layover, on 9/11. Through that experience we knew we were being called to plant a church and also to adopt a child from China. In April of 2002 our church was started and we began our new life as lead pastor and pastor's wife. The following year, we adopted our first daughter from China. We now have adopted two little girls who keep our life very excting. Our church is six years old and entering into a building project in the next few months. I hope you'll enjoy reading about our experiences. It can get kinda crazy around here. Maybe you'll even be able to relate to some of them and we can have a good laugh together.
